HiLo 50bp DNA Ladder is prepared from plasmids containing repeats of a 50 bp DNA fragment by digestion  with appropriate restriction enzymes to yield 26 blunt ended bands in 50bp increments ranging in size from 50-1300 bp, and suitable for use as molecular weight standards for agarose gel electrophoresis.

All bands in HiLo 50bp DNA Ladder are blunt end, which avoiding any artifacts caused by band reannealing.
